Introduction The Biological Anthropology Lab Complex at the University of Georgia is directed by Dr. Susan Tanner, Dr. Laurie Reitsema and Dr. Roberta Salmi. The research objectives of the lab group focus on primatology and nutritional and biocultural anthropology, with a particular emphasis on the role of environment in shaping biological and biocultural outcomes. The lab complex consists of three labs, the Bioarchaeology and Biochemistry lab, the Primate Behaviorial Ecology lab, and the Health and Human Biology lab. Each lab maintains many resources that are available to departmental faculty, graduate students, and collaborative scholars.
