Contact Information ksmorrow@uga.edu Office: Hunter-Holmes Academic Building, 325 Education M.A., Anthropology, San Diego State University (2018) B.A., Anthropology, University of Georgia (2014) Research I am broadly interested in human-nonhuman primate relationships, with a geographic interest in Indonesia and an applied focus of contributing equitable conservation solutions for threatened species. My past research used a mixed-methods approach to examine human-primate interaction in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, incorporating social network analysis and qualitative interviews to understand what factors explain why humans and primates interact with one another. My dissertation research will continue investigating human-primate coexistence in Indonesia. I am interested in creating theoretical and methodological bridges between conservation science, multispecies ethnography, and primate behavioral ecology in order to better understand the complex interrelations between humans and primates in the context of a rapidly changing world.
